We drive 40 min just for Nonna's on the regular. The food is TOP NOTCH & the service is always on par as well. If you love cheese & garlic, be sure to get the garlic knots (I devoured them before getting a picture). When it comes to their entrees I'm a sucker for their Stromboli, Alfredo, and Italian grinder. My husband is a "stick to the basics" kind of guy so the lasagna is his go to. Oh, & let's not forget the dessert. The desserts look thick and filling, but both the chocolate mousse cake and the lemon berry mascarpone cake, just MELT in your mouth with the perfect fluffy, light texture. They're PHENOMENAL. Always a 10/10 experience.

Ya'll, this is the most delicious food... It made me so happy... beautiful garlic knots that has the most exquisite cheese that when you twist it pulls and you know its gonna be bomb! Calamari and mozzarella sticks ..... I mean perfection 👌.. marinara absolutely 💯 😍..... if you haven't tried it please go enjoy their entrees and their friendly service... and lord in heaven please try Frank's homemade desserts you will not regret it! Kiddo absolutely devoured the Tuscan Shrimp. My *Salmon* not shrimp 😆 Piccatta was so good and I forgot to snap a pic

This little place is a gem. Authentic Italian and desserts. They even have a cocktail selection. When a place does Limoncello, you know it’s good. Also when you ask the young server about recommendations and their response is, “Neopolitan Mussel’s” wow! I had the lasagna and the appetizer meatballs were especially delicious. Moist with a delicious sauce. Lasagna was a healthy portion I couldn’t finish. Bc the tv reel was showing all of Nonna’s specialty dishes, family, life events, and desserts, we had to order the Spumoni. We are impressed. One way to my wife’s heart is food and this place reached it. Only 5 mins from our new home. This will definitely become our regular.

AUTHENTIC Hidden gem! One of the best authentic Italian restaurants I’ve had in a long time. Warm, welcoming atmosphere, great prices, and generous portions. The meatball appetizer was delicious, we ordered pizza and lasagna entrees which came with salad or soup options both were fresh and flavorful. Did I mention freshly made pastas. AUTHENTIC!!! The wine selection and Italian inspired cocktail menu was a nice bonus. With so many Italian restaurants in Charlotte, this one truly stands out. We’ll definitely be back!

I celebrated my son’s graduation luncheon at Nonna’s Italian Restaurant & Pizza with 16 of our amazing family and friends, and everything was excellent. The chicken baked ziti, Caesar salad, and garlic knots were delicious, and everyone enjoyed the food. Frank and Carla were very friendly and helpful in selecting the best lunch options for our party. Annette provided outstanding service and handled our large group wonderfully, even while the restaurant was busy. Thank you to the entire staff for helping make our celebration so special!
